Concept website · The Copper Table is a fictional restaurant

A candlelit table at night: a seared steak with asparagus and squash purée on a dark plate, a glass of red wine, a candle in a cut-glass holder and brass cutlery on an aubergine napkin, with warm lights out of focus behind.

Fire-led cooking · Old Town

Dinner, by firelight.

Seasonal plates cooked over English oak and finished in copper. An evening that takes its time, from the first glass to the last ember.

Dinner Wednesday–Sunday from 17:30

Lunch Friday–Sunday from 12:00

Private Rooms for 8 to 48 guests

The restaurant

Few ingredients. One fire. Plenty of time.

We cook almost everything over a single oak-fired hearth, then finish it in copper pans that have been in service longer than we have.

The menu changes with what the fishing boats and the farms bring in. The dining room is low-lit and unhurried. We seat each table once a night, so it’s yours for the evening.
