Private dining

Your table, your evening

Birthdays, business dinners, rehearsal suppers and the occasional proposal. Three spaces for eight to forty-eight guests, with menus planned around you.

The private dining room under a brick vault: one long table with velvet chairs and candles down its centre, and lit wine shelves at the far end.

The spaces

Three rooms, one kitchen

Every private menu is cooked on the same hearth as the restaurant, by the same team.

    Up to 8 guests

    The Counter

Eight seats along the pass, facing the fire. The chefs cook for you and serve each course themselves.

Private dining questions

Is there a minimum spend?

In this example, the Cellar Room and the Counter have no room fee and a minimum spend that varies by day. Exclusive use of the whole house is quoted individually.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes. Every private menu can be adapted for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests, and for allergies, given notice.

Can we bring our own wine or cake?

A real restaurant would set its own policy here. This example shows how clear answers reduce back-and-forth before booking.

How far ahead should we enquire?

Four to six weeks is typical for the Cellar Room, and longer for exclusive use in December.
