The studio
Built by makers, for makers.
Shieldwall Games is a small, self-funded studio in Kent. We build the tools we needed and couldn’t find, then share them. Our flagship product, Mimir, grew out of a practical problem: keeping a large fictional world coherent while building our own games.
We care about ownership, useful depth and tools that earn their place in a creator’s workflow. That principle shapes the products and the way we talk about them.
Leading the team
As founder I set product direction, brand and web, and I recruited and led a development team using Agile/Scrum. I work hands-on across the whole pipeline: product design, interface design, front-end development, 3D assets and marketing.
The websites
I designed and built the studio’s web presence: a studio homepage, a long-form product site for Mimir and a coming-soon page for Ashborn. Each has its own voice, but they share the same honesty: where real product captures don’t exist yet, the space is clearly labelled rather than filled with fabricated screens.

Ashborn
A Viking Age collectible card game. Not the mythology, but the history.
Ashborn is a historically grounded card game set in the age of raids, halls and the brutal calculus of war and alliance. I developed its brand identity, game design, warband (faction) system, card templating and coming-soon page. The world is being built as structured data inside Mimir.
Ashborn is in active development with no release date yet. As it is unreleased, no gameplay is shown here.
